you know how people write fic in their friend's DMs, or in discord servers? not!fic, or bullet point fic, or whatever you want to call it? I used to do that a lot and then I stopped because I started doing Actual Writing but I miss doing it! it was lower effort than Actual Fic and very very rewarding and I would love to get back into it, now only to find a friend who shares my fandoms and/or doesn't mind me talking about my OCs and a ton of messed up angst. in return I will be invested in your OCs. or really, if anyone has any suggestions as to how I could get back into this practice they would be highly appreciated.

ashkjfdhsjkhdfkas sorry im just.........having fucking Thought again about Felix and how my entire plan when designing his character was to

1. give him as much trauma as I fucking could

2. i was trying to flip the victim script - all the ways in which he's fucked up would be ridiculous and cliche if he were a girl. but he's not, and his first girlfriend was emotionally abusive and manipulative (through little fault of her own, tbf) and it's like aaaaaaaaaaaah because I really like fucking him up and i probably shouldn't bur who cares tbh.

hellofriendsiminthedark and I have been riffing back and forth about twilight for a while now, but something they said reminded me of a fictional universe that I spitballed @ another friend a while back.

A lot of the time, when trans people worldbuild, we tend to work our transness into the fabric of the world; make places that accept us at their core. I don't think I've ever seen someone do that with nonbinary people though, and I find angst and the whole 'fighting against the world itself' shtick much more compelling, so here goes (this was written directly in my friend's DMs and I am not actually correcting anything)
