jonathan: oldest. garbage asshole and only top in the house. rescues people but like in a surly way. full of love
nate: younger twin, left with jonathan when jon was 20 because their mom was shit - he was 13 at the time. brat tm. useless.
neal: older twin. stayed w their mom until she died. really tired and should be loved more. had magic before his mom suppressed tf out of it.

timeline #1: Neal & Nate were 13 when Jon (then 20) packed himself and Nate up and left. they began dating 5 years later, when Nate was 18. the plot catalyst being their mom's death, they've only been dating for a year by the time they go back for Neal.
timeline #2: Neal and Nate were 13 when Jon (then 21) packed himself and Nate up and left. they began dating when Nate was 18 and go back when their mom dies 3 years later, when Nate is 21 and Jon is 29.
their storyline mainly features developing polyamory because Jon and Nate are dating already and have been for a few years.

I'm only messing with it for angst and complex polya feels...nothing deep.
