Oh man, I just happened across a throwaway mention of the Wheel of Time, and that brings back so many memories. It's a fucking brick house of a fantasy series - 14,15 books total - and I read it through at least five times (skipping over Perrin chapters every time, of course. He CAN MEET ME IN THE FUCKING PIT) I had so many disaster bisexual Matrim Cauthon headcanons (I only recognise them as such looking back - I was still depressed and heterosexual while I was reading that series, which means I was 12? 13?) I particularly enjoyed Rand's slow decent into insanity - it's still one of the best whump sequences I've ever had the pleasure of reading - and every time Nynaeve made an appearance. I love Nynaeve. What an absolute queen that lady is. 
I just! I have so many emotions! Please talk to me about this stupid brick house, I have so many feelings.

I never finished it. I think I gave up around 8 or 9--whichever one literally only covered a day. I wonder if I'd be happy to finish it. (For all that I've always grabbed peoples' hands when they reached for the book, and said, 'Friends don't let friends read Robert Jordan')

My WoT queer headcanons include such gems like Berlain (whatever her name is) and Galad being wlw/mlm solidarity - she's a lesbian and he's an ace gay guy - and Matrim Cauthon, kinky bisexual (as mentioned above) Rand, who is lowkey pan and highkey polya, Elaine, Aviendha, and Min being their own functioning triad of bisexuals - with Min being genderfluid/genderqueer (not wearing dresses doesn't make you queer but let me! have this one! please!) I highkey headcanon Egwene as either gay or ace - she is not attracted to guys, c'mon, whatsisname was clearly a fluke. Siuan and Moiraine are functional exes per canon, and so on and so forth.
If you ever finish reading that series - and I'm not saying you should but you totally should please tell me about it. So much happens. I love this dumb brick set.
